Keeping cool..

I presently reside in San Diego and I got this A/C soon after the initial heat wave of the 12 months which was outrageous and hit into the large 90s. I bought two Royal Soverign a/c models, 12,000 BTU from Sears in six/08. We haven’t used them a entire whole lot. Ours are tan with a black exhaust area/top. Models ARP 3012. We paid $599 each and every.We left for the day and like we constantly do, switch the a/c to a reduced setting. A family member experienced stopped more than and I experienced her examine to make confident the a/c was on. She explained the unit upstairs was off. I imagined that was odd, as I had left it on. When she turned it on, it sounded like a hundred forks in a garbage disposal. I could listen to it above the mobile phone. Apparently, due to the concern, the unit was over-heating and then turning itself off. We are fortunate the home did not burn down.When we acquired home we seemed into the issue and after taking away the tubing from the unit, we instantaneously discovered shards of inexpensive black plastic. Some components looked tube like. We taken out the 14 screws on the back again, cleaned up the damaged plastic laying inside of the unit (we thought it was component of the exhaust) and thinking everything was fine (but were ended up nevertheless heading to search into what that tubing was for) and we put the back of the device back again on and we turned it on.
