We were attempting to cut back again on electric powered this summertime so considered a space airconditioner for daytime sleeping would be significantly less than cooling the whole next ground and this appeared to reply our requirements. NOT! It does not give dimensions of the unit, properly, nor of the measurement, smallest and largest, window that this will fit into. The good news is the shipping and delivery box does provide that info so right after dragging it into the residence from the front methods, I learn that it will not suit our home windows. I are unable to feel that our “custom made” property has such uncommon sized windows but evidently LG does. Once more, thankfully, Amazon took a ship again. It value me $nine.ninety five to have the device picked up from the residence but I didn’t want to attempt to carry the tranquil heavy unit to my auto and into UPS so determine $nine.95 is a lesson nicely realized.

Don’t buy an LG air conditioner

BRAND NEW LW1511ER. Huge install, new direct 20 amp power line. Cut a hole, and was prepairing wall install. but it got hot, so I temporarily installed in window according to directions. It can’t cool a 10′x’15′ room. The smallest 5000 BTU ACs I’ve owned will cool better than this Monster. DO NOT BUY AN LG!

Bought this last year to cool the lower level of our house. I know that this is taxing the unit but we do not have a 220v outlet for a larger unit anywhere convenient and didn’t have the time or money to put in a split/central unit. It takes the unit a while to cool the first floor but it will bring it down to livable levels in a reasonable amount of time, and pulls out a lot of humidity. Removing the unit each fall and installing it each spring is no small task, this unit is heavy and for some reason the a/c stopped wanting to slide out of the case. I am happy to report that it is much quieter then expected, it makes much less noise then our smaller bedroom unit from another brand. While not perfect I am very happy with its performance and can recommend this unit.
