Operates fine but LOUD

I requested this product very last fall when I moved into a new property with no AC. I failed to need to have it right away, so just opened it this weekend. Works great

This unit works fantastic in my upstairs bed room. I have central air, but my bedroom nonetheless stays sizzling. It functions well but came to me damaged and the Soleus company is less than useful. The control panel doesn’t work, but can be turned on by the remote. Inconvenient and the vent hose is not extremely adaptable at all and is quite bulky. Total, it’s much better than absolutely nothing, but could be much better. And trying to make contact with the Soleus firm is a joke.
